Who we are
She Bakes Cakes is a custom cake business. Our website is shebakescakes.com. You can reach us any time at orders@shebakescakes.com.
What we collect
- When you place an order: your name, phone number, email address, pickup date and time, cake size and flavor, design details, the message you want on your cake, and any reference photos or links you add.
- When you join our email list: your email address.
- Automatically: our website host and form service may log basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type to keep the site working and secure. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site.
How we use it
- To confirm, make and arrange pickup of your order, and to contact you about it.
- To send cake updates, new flavors and open order dates, only if you joined our email list. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To keep records of our orders and to prevent spam and misuse of the order form.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Who handles it for us
We use a few trusted services to run the site. They only handle your information to provide their service to us:
- Cloudflare hosts this website and stores the reference photos you upload with an order.
- Web3Forms delivers your order form to our email.
- Google (Gmail) receives and stores our order emails.
- Mailchimp manages our email list and sends our updates.
Your photos
Reference photos you upload are stored privately and can only be opened with a long private link that is sent to us with your order. They are used only to make your cake. Please only upload photos you are comfortable sharing with us.
How long we keep it
We keep order details and photos for as long as we need them to complete your order and for our business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will, unless we need to keep something to meet a legal or record-keeping requirement. You can leave our email list whenever you like using the unsubscribe link in any email.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing orders@shebakescakes.com.
Children
Our website is meant for adults placing orders. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes a child has shared information with us, please email us and we will delete it.
Payments
We do not take payments or store any card or bank details on this website. Payments are made separately through Cash App, Apple Pay or Zelle, which have their own privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date above.
